Seth has been working the healthcare/diagnostics industry for the past 22 years the last 17 years for Roche Diagnostics.
Initially in sales and product management he has spent the past 11 years in different positions along the product development continuum primarily in the business of hospital point of care blood glucose testing building handheld meters and data management software for hospital point of care programs.
He has held positions in from both Indianapolis and Graz, Austria in:
Global Marketing and served as the voice of the customer on new product development teams.
Product Line Management and managed new product development initiatives, product life cycles and portfolios as a product line manager
Head of Product Programs leading combined global product marketing and development.
To his and his team’s credit they are responsible for the development of the world’s best selling hospital based blood glucose meter the Accu-Chek Inform. This meter has won multiple US and international awards for design, customer acceptance and business impact. Today it continues to serve the market with nearly 61% market share.
Seth has a passion for both new product development and business development believing that the careful education of and selection of the right component manufactures, suppliers or partners is paramount to any product’s success over the short, mid and long term.
He has been an member of the DxMA since ’95 and has served multiple terms on the board of directors.
Reaching in to the community he is also on the board of Easter Seals Crossroads of Indiana serving the needs of central Indiana’s disabled.
Seth is a graduate of Ripon College, Ripon, Wisconsin with a BS degree in Biology and former US Army officer.
